SIGN UP TODAY TO BE A VOLUNTEER ON TEAM LAGO FEST. WE NEED YOU!

 

We are expecting big crowds this year with people coming out to see our amazing bands. We need your help more than ever. Let's show 'em what we've got, Lago Vista! Luckily we have a great community that is always helpful and willing to get involved. Read on to learn about the benefits of volunteering.

 

VOLUNTEER BENEFIT #1

Sign up for one of the shifts here on the website, and get a full-day parking permit on the festival grounds!

Because of our expected large crowds, on-site volunteer parking will be at a minimum. Only volunteers who work 4 or more hours will receive this benefit.

 

PLEASE CARPOOL with as many volunteers as you can, no matter your shift time.

You can play while your friend helps out, and vice versa.

 

VOLUNTEER BENEFIT #2

Have your friends and family take part in this parking benefit by bringing them with you. It’s the smart way to park at the festival AND allows all other festival goers - from Lago and beyond - plenty of parking at shuttle stops around the city.

 

NOTE:  We do ask that once you are parked, please do your best to avoid “in and out” parking.

If you leave, we can't guarantee your spot will still be there.

 

VOLUNTEER BENEFIT #3

Make it a family affair - volunteer as a group. Kids aged 16 and up are welcome to volunteer unattended with a parent's consent.

 

VOLUNTEER BENEFIT #4

You are the LAGO FEST Ambassadors. You get to have the most fun with the greatest group of people.  You never know who you'll get to meet. And at the end of the day you get to go home knowing that your hard work helped to make the festival a great success!

 

HOW TO SIGN UP

We are using the program called Signup Genius. You don’t have to create an account to access it. You can simply sign up as a guest. Once you sign up for a shift (or shifts), you will immediately receive a confirmation email. Make sure to SAVE the email as it contains a link that you will need in order to get back in to the system to make any changes in your shift times.

 

IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, please contact us immediately at susan.price@lagovistatexas.gov and remove your name from the online shift schedule so that other volunteers can step in and take advantage of being part of our awesome TEAM LAGO FEST. We're counting on you. So please try and cancel only if it's an emergency.

Note: There will be no need for volunteers in the Chamber of Commerce's beverage tent at this time.
